Tory walked the busy streets of Dentech City. Ever since the take down of all the evil organizations there was nothing major going on. He sat down to grab a bite to eat when his P.E.T rang.
"What is it?"
"Tory its an email from Headquarters. Something about the undernet being unsettle. They need people to go investigate."

Tory tipped the waitress and left with his sandwich at hand. "Finally something interesting.

Dragonman.EXE was his name. Feared by most navis across the net because of his immense power, sadly. He was on the good side, but his fighting style seemed somewhat rouge on occasion.

He slowly walks through the area that used to be home to PharaohMan. Though now a desert anymore, his presence is still felt very strongly. As he walks through, he feels the ground quake momentarily. He shrugs it off as though nothing had happened, but subconsciously makes a not.

After walking a little bit further, he decides to leave. He transports to NetCity and begins to walk around and look at the nice BattleChips available. "I wish I could get a NetOp to slot some of these chips to me. I need to find one. But I will not be owned. I'm a loner. Always will be."

As he's walking, BassEX watches him from high on a tower, unnoticed by anyone....so he thinks.

"Jakc in! BassX! Download!"

BassX beamed into SciLabs and walks into where HQ resides. The whole place is crawling by Nenavis that belong to the scientists. He makes his way to the Admin. "Any info other than location of this event?"

The Navi replies "It has to do with the Aura given off by once delete evil Navis. Its all gathering at one point. There are some Navis in NetCity that know mmore. First we need you to investigate there."

BassX nods. "Will do."

He goes to Yoka to see what's going on there, but nothing is so he continues his walk around the net. He proceeds to SciLab and talks to a few of the net navis about some weapon upgrades and then prepares to leave. As he's leaving, he notices BassX. The only problem is that he doesn't know it's BassX. He doesn't know who it is, and it doesn't really look like any other known form of Bass. "Hmmmmmmm. Who is that? He has a NetOp so he couldn't be the real Bass. But he looks exactly like that thing I saw in NetCity. I still don't know what that is. Hey! Megaman!" Megaman sees Dragonman and comes over to say hi. "Megaman, do you know who that guy is over there?" Megaman explains that that is BassX. His operator is Tory. "Ok. Thanks." Dragonman walks out and continues back to NetCity to do some battling in the Arena.

BassX hears a mention of his name and turns to see Megaman.
"Tory he may know something."
"Yeah I agree go ask him."
BassX walks up to Megaman
"Hey Mega..Have you heard about the undernet incident?"
Megaman nods.
""Im going there myself. I want to see whats the gathering source of all this."

"Yaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!! You think you can actually stand up to my DragonFire?" He takes one shot, and shortly hears, "Netnavi, logging out." "Now that's what I call a fight." He leaves the arena and then decides to go find Megaman. He looks around SciLab but sees nothing. He continues to Lan's house, but no one is there. Where is he? "I'm going to the undernet. I want to find Serenade. I'm in the mood for a real opponent. And I want to go visit some old friends....."

BassX and Megaman stop at the near entrance to the Undernet.
"Can you feel the pressure?" asks BassX
Megaman nods.
"We might need help. Lan How about we contact Dragonman?"
Tory turns to Lan
"Dragonman?"
"Yeah he's a solo Netnavi but very strong. We could ask him to help us investigate."

As he approaches the undernet entrance, he sees two figures, Megaman and BassX. "Sup y'all? What brings you two to this neck of the woods?" He looks them over as if to get a good description of them. "Well, I'll see you two later, I've got some things to do." He starts to walk away.

"Umm shouldnt we.."
"He has some other business. Those eyes hes looking to fill he battle mood." Megaman cut BassX in mid sentence.
"So now what?"

"..Since we're heading different directions but both take the same path lets go." Megaman said
BassX followed Megaman into the Undernet

He continues deep into the undernet until he finally gets through all the freaks trying to "welcome" him back. He walks up to the entrance to the Secret Area where Serenade is. Someone approaches him from behind and he spins around, DragonFire to their head.
"What's the matter? Tense?" comes the character's voice.
"What are you doing here, freak? You're too low on the food chain to be coming in here."
"You're to high-class to be down here."
"I ain't high class. Just cause I left you losers here to die with Alpha doesn't mean I'm high-class. It just means I'm smart, a whole heck of a lot more than you can say. Why are you here?"
"I have a job I need done......"

As BassX and Megaman walk along the Undernet facing off vicious viruses they see Dragonman walk into the Secret Areas.
"Secret Areas...havent been there in the longest." said Megaman
The number of viruses grew and as they were about to attack the all stopped in movement.
"Whats the?"
They all faced to the Darkness and where streams of corrupted Data could be seen streaming to one point that glistened.
"I thinks thats it." said BassX running toward the spot

"Hmmmmmmmm.....what are they doing here? I'm going to find out." He creeps out of the Secret Area and walks through the shadows. "What's this? Corrupted data?" He reads what he can out of it, not much at all. "Alpha. He's being brought back. And....Serenade? He's dead? What the........how? How did he get killed? A new strip, nice. Let's see......Serenade killed in a fight with BassEX.......WHAT?!?!?! Bass lives? I have a new mission now. And I think they're after the same thing."

Arriving at the scene a strange force stopped BassX and Megaman from going further.
"What is it i Cant recognize it." said BassX
Megaman studied the Data.
"Lan...this data it has a resemblance to the TetraCodes." said Megaman
"THE Tetra codes. Thats what has Alpha no?" asked BassX and Megaman gave him a nod in return

"Come to think of it..the undernet has been swarming with a lot of viruses..more than usual anyhow. Somethings very wrong here." said Tory

"Yes. Something is very wrong, Tory." Dragonman steps out from behind the data. "What's wrong is that Bass has been revived somehow, went rouge from whomever repaired him, killed that person, and then has begun the process of reviving Alpha. We have to kill BassEX. He'll take over the world if we don't. He has the knowledge to make Alpha invincible to everything. Then, he can destroy everything. We have to stop this process."

"Only a maniac would revive Bass." said Megaman
BassX looked at the floor.
"We have to track him down quick."
Tory opened his PET lid and sent a message
"Ive let the Officials know what we've learned."
