When I put the chips in, it shows the pictures of Megaman and whatever chip I put in move together and combine but it never works. How exactly am I supposed to use them?

The Navi chips for the Progress PET aren't like they are for they advance pet. When you put it in and activate it, you do a soul unison with the navi on the chip. If you put the Megaman navi chip in, you do a syncro thing with lan and any chip that you use is much more powerful, your buster is more powerful, and you have more health. If you do one with protoman, it is the same way, you and protoman do a soul unison and and you are more powerful. Hope that helps. Welcome to the forum by the way!

Is the picture on the main screen supposed to change. In the instruction book, it shows a picture that look like Fulll Synchro or Cross Fusion, but my picture always looks the same.

um, I can't remember if the picutre changes or not...but, unless there is something wrong with your PET, you should be upgraded. (for that battle only though)

Am I supposed to use them while I'm in battle or only at the main screen.

Only in battle.

When I use them in battle, it just keeps showing a screen that has something that looks like I5- blinking. I'm thinking it's a loading screen but I might be wrong.

The thing with the progress PET is, you put a chip in, press the OK button, and then take it out. When you get that screen, you have to take the chip out. I don't know why they do it like that.

This screen comes up before the one you're talking about. When I put in other chips, their attack power comes up, but with these, they only show the flashing screen. If i push Ok on this screen, it shows me my CL for half a second, then goes back to the other screen. Is it broken?

Are you slotting the chip all the way in? Because I noticed sometimes when you do it reads it as something else?

Where did you but this PET? Did you get it brand new? Cause you may have some problems. Or, I may just be wrong. (I haven't used my PET in a while, the batteries are dead.)

I bought it on ebay but it was brand new. It was still in a closed box and had everything it was supposed to come with.
