Ok I know you can use the Advance battle chips on the Progress Pet.... Can you use the American ones on it too?

See I want to get a Progress Pet, and I can easily get one on E Bay, however getting the Japanese Progress chips, and the Japanese Advance chips is near impossible now... I don't want to get the Progress Pet if I can't even play it! Anyone got any suggestions? Better yet is anyone willing to sell me some chips?

Any advance pet or progress pet chip will work with the progress pet.
